Follow Me

Marathon number 5 is 10 days away and as always, I just want it to be here. The anticipation has been building since a personal best in October at the Hartford Marathon. However, going into this race, I have no goal. This is our fun marathon. And yes, you may think how running 26.2 miles is fun, but it is happening in the happiest place on Earth. Why set goals when you can run and enjoy the most magical 26.2 miles in the world? Additionally, for the first time, I will be carrying a camera during the marathon to document the entire journey for my students who are participating in our school's code marathon. These 130 students have committed to reading 26 books, doing 26 good deeds and running 26.2 miles. After the Hartford Marathon, many asked me questions about what a real marathon is like, so I decided that I'd document this race. My hope is to continue to motivate the world's greatest students who have committed to completing such an amazing task. So, check back as I share my own thoughts on running for the next 8 days and beyond.

Happy Running!
