Even when you don't want to. . .

Today's Mileage: 10 miles at a 9:15 pace

There will be days when you wake up knowing you have to run. Whether that run is one mile or twenty miles. . . go out and do it.

I woke up today thinking about the busy day I had ahead of me, starting with a 10 mile run. I got to my dad's house and said, "let's do 8." He said "let's see how we feel" and off we went on his 10 mile route. We finished and I said, "I'm glad we did that" referring to the fact that I'm glad we didn't cut it short.

The moral? Even when you have a million things to do, the best way to start the day is with a run. It energizes you, wakes you up, and there's no better feeling afterward. Besides, it really stinks going through the day thinking, "I should have done one more mile."
